Privacy Policy

The short version: KDP Cover Studio does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. There is no account and no sign‑in. Everything you create stays on your Mac.

This Privacy Policy explains how KDP Cover Studio (the “App”), a native macOS application published by Yividia (HONGYI HUO), handles information. By using the App you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

None. The App does not collect, request, or transmit any personal information. It has no user accounts, no registration, no login, and no in‑app purchases or subscriptions. We do not use analytics, advertising, tracking, or crash‑reporting SDKs.

2. Your content stays on your device

Your projects, images, fonts and exported files are stored locally on your Mac, in locations you choose. They are never uploaded to us or to any third party by the App.

3. Network use

The App operates fully offline. It makes no external network requests to us or to any server. The macOS network client capability is present only so an embedded, local web view can render HTML for vector‑PDF export on your own machine; no data leaves your device through it. Any link you deliberately click that opens an external website (for example the official Amazon KDP cover calculator) is handled by your default browser, subject to that site’s own policies.

4. Data sharing

Because the App collects no data, there is nothing to share, sell, or disclose. We do not share information with third parties, and we do not respond to data requests because no such data exists.

5. Children’s privacy

The App is rated for all ages and does not collect data from anyone, including children.

6. Security

The App runs inside the macOS App Sandbox and only accesses files you explicitly open or save. As no data is collected or transmitted, there is no personal data at risk of a breach on our side.

7. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Material changes will remain consistent with our commitment to collecting no personal data.
